About these terms
Stop the Bus (stopthebus.app) is run by Craig Bennett(“we”). By playing, you agree to these terms. Our privacy policy explains what we do with your data.
Who can play
Stop the Bus is for players aged 13 and over. If you're under 13, please only play with a parent or guardian's permission, and don't create an account.
Your account
- A guest account lasts while you keep playing. It's deleted after 30 days without a game, and it can't be recovered if you clear your browser. Create an account to keep yours.
- Keep your password to yourself. You're responsible for what happens on your account.
- You can ask us to delete your account at any time.
Playing fair
Please don't:
- cheat, including using tools or bots to play for you;
- use a nickname or answers that are offensive or hateful, or pretend to be someone else;
- harass other players;
- try to break, overload or copy the game, or get into parts of it you shouldn't.
We can delete accounts that break these rules.
Answers and scores
The game checks answers against its own word lists, which are still growing, so it will sometimes get one wrong. The game decides the scores. If you think one is wrong, report it from the reveal after the round: we check every report, but we can't promise to change every decision.
The service
We do our best to keep Stop the Bus running, but it's provided as it is, and we can't promise it will always be available or free of mistakes. We may change, pause or stop features, or the game itself.
Our responsibility to you
Nothing in these terms limits anything that can't be limited by law, including your rights as a consumer. Beyond that, we aren't responsible for losses that weren't foreseeable, or for any business losses: Stop the Bus is a game, for fun.
Changes to these terms
We may update these terms. The date at the top shows when they last changed, and we'll tell you in the game if a change matters.
The law that applies
These terms are governed by the law of Scotland. If you live elsewhere in the UK, you can also bring a claim in the courts where you live.
